Brand identity for a cheeky, rebellious sandwich shop concept.

Sandy Witch is a ficitional sandwich joint born out of chaotic charm and bold energy. The brand is a play on the overused misogynistic phrase “Make me a sandwich!” (Get it?) The branding embraces loud typography, vibrant colours, and Mid-Century Modernism.

Inspired by the story behind Lijjat Papad, a women-run poppadom business since the 1950s.

 

BRAND LOGO

Having been inspired by an event in the 1950s, the creative direction for the brand was inspired by Mid-Century Modernism. This includes the brand’s colour palette, typeface, as well as secondary atomic age elements.
